In this session, students enjoy activities like:

Working across different stations

Improving movement

Building communication skills

Exploring the sensory room

Mindfulness

Using the interactive projector

In Multi-skills sessions, you will work across a range of different activity stations in the Bradbury Hub. Each task is designed to help develop your senses and support your focus, calmness, and confidence.

These activities can also help with:

  • Hand movement and control (motor skills)
  • Talking and listening (communication)
  • Feeling good and relaxed (wellbeing)

You will also get time in our sensory room. This is a quiet, peaceful space with colourful lights, gentle music and sounds, soft and interesting textures, and bubble tubes that are relaxing to watch.

We also have a sensory garden you can visit. It’s a peaceful outdoor space that helps you feel calm and focused. You can visit the garden during sessions or enjoy it on your own when you need a break.
A female student with purple hair wearing a leopard-print jacket holds a painting of an otter in a grassy field. She smiles indoors, with a window showing a green landscape behind her.

“The sensory room makes me feel happy and relaxed.”
