We were delighted to welcome KMTV to Elham Valley Vineyard this week as they joined us to capture a little of the excitement surrounding this year’s grape harvest.

With our students at the heart of everything we do, it was a wonderful opportunity to showcase not only the hard work that goes into our harvest but also the enthusiasm, confidence and sense of achievement that come from being involved in activities like these. Two of our new Student Ambassadors took centre stage during the visit, doing us incredibly proud as they spoke to KMTV about their experiences and helped bring to life what being part of The Fifth Trust means to them.

The visit was also a fantastic opportunity for our students to get hands-on with some of the equipment. The KMTV representative was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to show our ambassadors how to operate the camera and giving them the chance to try out the microphone for themselves. Their kindness and encouragement helped make the experience even more enjoyable, giving our students the opportunity to explore something new and experience a little of what goes on behind the scenes of a creating an interview.

Our Student Ambassador programme is all about giving our students a greater voice, encouraging them to share their experiences and helping them play an even more active role in representing The Fifth Trust. Seeing our ambassadors embrace this opportunity so enthusiastically was a wonderful example of exactly what the programme hopes to achieve.

We are incredibly proud of our two ambassadors and grateful to KMTV for taking the time to visit us and make the experience so positive and inclusive.
