Volunteers play an essential role in our day care service and we are hugely grateful to all those who give up their time to help us. So, if you are enthusiastic and energetic and support our mission to encourage and challenge our students with learning disabilities to do and be the best that they can, please come and have a look around.
We welcome people of all ages from all walks of life with an interest in the activities we offer, from horticulture and woodwork to cooking and music.
Some of our volunteers have used The Fifth Trust to gain experience before starting a career in adult nursing, social work, teaching or care. But you do not need to have any specific experience or skills to get involved. We organise your DBS check, which is all you need to start.
