Schubert recital hits the right notes

A candlelit Barham Church looked magnificent as it welcomed those attending a Schubert recital in aid of our Greenbanks skills centre appeal.

Julian Hubbard and Aoife O’Sullivan
The evening was a sell-out, with some 155 people purchasing tickets to enjoy the immense talent of two professional performers: tenor Julian Hubbard and concert pianist Aoife O’Sullivan. The concert was introduced by the Appeal's ambassador, Pam Ferris, who briefly outlined the story of ‘Die Schöne Müllerin’, which was performed in German (though translation sheets were provided!).

With gratitude to them, our kind sponsors, and all others involved, we were delighted to be able to add £2,700 to the appeal as a result of this event.
